About
Hi, I’m Meredith — an imperfect human, a survivor, a mother, partner, friend, nature lover, glimmer seeker, and pleasure follower. I’m a woman who has walked through fire and emerged on the other side, devoted to creating spaces where others can finally feel all they were never allowed to feel. I come alive in nature: wandering the land I call home, listening to wild animals, climbing mountains, or sinking into the stillness of water.
My path into this work began long before I had language for it. I endured trauma early and often, along with the deep disconnection that comes from being taught to ignore or mistrust your body. And those generational patterns? Whew — they run deep. They’re heavy.
For a long time, survival meant living in fight-or-flight or slipping into dissociation. I became highly functional, even successful at times — and immensely dysfunctional at others. I carried deep pain in silence for years. Yoga was my first doorway back: first as physical relief, then as a spiritual anchor. I searched for healing everywhere — in western medicine and pharmaceuticals, in talk therapy and energy work, in movement and mindfulness. I thought I had done “the work.” I thought I was “healed”.
But in the summer of 2021, something shattered. An experience cracked me open and made it undeniable how much trauma my body was still holding. My whole system froze; I couldn’t think my way out. My healing demanded something deeper. That moment changed everything and led me to Somatic Sex Education and Sexological Bodywork — the kind of body-based work that reaches beyond words.
This work has peeled back layers of pain, shame, and grief, and shown me that healing isn’t about fixing what’s broken — it’s about remembering who we are beneath all that was never ours to carry. Healing isn’t linear, but on the other side of the spiral lies pleasure embodiment: learning how to truly feel good in your body. To feel safe. To feel joy. To feel sovereign.
I’ve become a co-creator and guide — not because I’m “done” healing, but because I know the terrain intimately. Every scar, every spiral, every breakthrough has made me more compassionate, more attuned, and more reverent of the body’s wisdom.
Today, I’m a Certified Somatic Sex Educator (CSSE), Certified Sexological Bodyworker (CSB), Certified Steamcare Provider & Level 2 Peristeam Facilitator, Certified Intimacy Educator, and Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200). I hold advanced training in Somatics, Pelvic Health, Genital Dearmouring, Scar Tissue & Lymphatic Manipulation, Myofascial Release, Erotic Blueprints, the Wheel of Consent, Nervous System Patterning, Thai Bodywork, and Reiki I & II.
And still — I’ll always be a humbled student of the body. Titles aside, I’m someone who believes in meeting people exactly where they are, walking beside them, and reminding them of their innate, powerful, sacred capacity to heal. Finding your autonomy and sovereignty is a hell of a journey — but damn, does it feel good.
This is me. Meredith.
What is De-Armouring?
Dearmouring is a gentle and trauma-informed practice that supports the body in softening its protective layers — areas of tension, numbness, or holding that may have formed in response to stress, trauma, or life experience. These patterns of "armour" live in the fascia, muscles, and nervous system, often limiting sensation, expression, and connection. Through somatic awareness and intentional touch, dearmouring invites a return to sensation, pleasure, and presence. It’s a pathway home — to your body, your voice, and your autonomy. This work is:
Trauma-informed: guided at your body’s natural pace
Somatic: rooted in felt experience and body awareness
Restorative: reconnecting you to vitality, boundaries, and self-trust
Throat, Jaw, and Neck Dearmouring
Supports release in areas linked to suppressed expression and nervous system freeze. Helps with:
TMJ, jaw clenching, voice constriction
Fear of speaking truth
Nervous system regulation
Embodied expression and boundaries
Pelvic Dearmouring
Works with the fascia and energetic field of the hips, sacrum, and lower belly. Supports:
Pelvic tension or numbness
Hip and sacral restriction
Emotional release
Creative energy and grounding
Genital Dearmouring
Addresses the deepest layers of embodied memory in the genitals and surrounding tissues. Supports:
Healing after trauma or medical procedures
Reclaiming pleasure, arousal, and consent
Sensitivity, sovereignty, and integration
Every Body holds stories — and dearmouring offers a pathway to meet those stories with compassion, presence, and care. Whether it’s the throat that never got to scream, the pelvis that had to stay still, or the genitals that were never truly given voice — this work creates the safety and spaciousness for the body to begin speaking again, on its own terms.
What is Somatic Massage and Bodywork?
In Somatics, our aim is to empower individuals to develop heightened awareness of their body's sensations, movements, and emotions. This holistic approach serves as a bridge connecting our unconscious and conscious experiences within the body, fostering the healing of the mind-body connection. Somatics seeks to release long-held physical tension, emotional stress, and traumatic memories stored within the body. It's important to note that over 80% of communication within our body operates from the bottom-up, underscoring the significance of body-based modalities in the healing journey. Essentially, Somatics represents a bottom-up (body-mind) approach, in contrast to the top-down (mind-body) approach.
In Somatics, we emphasize the role of our Inner Wisdom as the guide to our 'hidden wholeness,' shifting away from the conventional idea of seeking external teachers. By simply embracing pleasure and directing our attention to bodily sensations, we foster Somatic Awareness. Coupled with the language of Consent, this approach deepens our inner and outer dialogue. Our nervous system communicates with us through sensations, and understanding how to expand and utilize this language of sensation can be truly empowering. Beneath every emotion lies a sensation, and connecting with, exploring, and navigating these sensations can be the key to our liberation. My aspiration is to help you uncover your unique, embodied, and empowered choices and voice.
What is Somatic Sex Education & Sexological Bodywork Therapy?
As a Somatic Sex Educator and Sexological Bodywork Therapist in training, I specialize in guiding individuals through a transformative journey of self-discovery and sexual empowerment. Through Somatic Bodywork and the practice of Body Dearmouring, I help clients release physical and emotional tensions that may have accumulated in the body due to past experiences and societal conditioning. By combining body dearmouring modalities, breathwork, gentle touch, and movement, I assist clients in unlocking their body's innate wisdom and sensuality. The process of Body Dearmouring involves identifying and releasing areas of tension, allowing for a deeper connection with pleasure, intimacy, and self-expression. It's a powerful method that facilitates healing, personal growth, and a more authentic experience of one's sexuality.
These modalities are rooted in a deep understanding of the interconnectedness of the body, mind, and emotions, offering a unique approach to personal growth and healing. Through Somatic Sex Education, I provide clients with knowledge and tools to explore their own sexuality, understand their desires, and build healthier relationships with their bodies and partners. Sexological Bodywork, on the other hand, is a hands-on approach that combines therapeutic touch and somatic awareness to address physical and emotional blockages that may be hindering one's sexual pleasure and fulfillment. Together, these practices create a holistic framework for individuals to embrace their true selves, heal from past wounds, and embark on a journey towards sexual wholeness and authenticity. I aim to create a safe enough and nurturing space for clients to embrace their bodies, reclaim their desires, and cultivate a profound sense of well-being while finding their embodied and empowered choice and voice.
What is an Embodiment Coach?
Embodiment Coaching is a dynamic practice that centers on the profound connection between the body, emotions, and physical sensations as a gateway to personal growth and profound transformation. My approach places a strong emphasis on harmonizing the mind and body, with the ultimate goal of enhancing self-awareness, emotional regulation, and overall well-being.
As an Embodiment Coach, my practice extends beyond conventional therapy to empower individuals in connecting with their bodies and unlocking their fullest potential. This approach is an integral part of my role as a Somatic Sex Educator. In the world of Embodiment Coaching, we recognize that the body holds the key to self-discovery and personal transformation. By weaving together techniques such as body de-armoring, breathwork, mindful movement, and somatic awareness, I facilitate a journey toward profound self-awareness and emotional regulation. This integrative process enables clients to develop a more harmonious relationship with their bodies and emotions, translating into improved mental, emotional, and physical health. My mission is to provide a nurturing and supportive space for individuals to explore their inner landscapes, ultimately leading them towards a place of empowerment, authenticity, and an enriched connection with their own sexuality and overall well-being.

“What I experienced was someone who was so dedicated to their own healing that the Divine was able to use her as a conduit to bring peace to my heart.”
